Flanders sets up data vault service with father of the Internet - De Tijd article
The Digitaal Vlaanderen agency is setting up a software-as-a-service with Inrupt, a company founded by the inventor of the web Tim Berners-Lee. Inrupt promotes the Solid standard for data vaults.
Research institute VITO demonstrated a pilot project on health, where the users decide what happens to their data. "It is nice to see the energy and the momentum. Flanders understands it. The government understands it, the companies understand it", said Berners-Lee.
